This body butter from Soap and Glory is a little gem for those of you out there with very dry skin. Though it’s not as thick as some body butters, meaning you need to use slightly more of this than you would using something like the Body Shop Body Butters, this is still a very buttery product. With this being so buttery, it takes a little while to actually rub in but once you’ve rubbed it in the moisture pay off is fantastic and it doesn’t leave your skin feeling greasy. It doesn’t take particularly long to dry either meaning you can pop some of this on when you get out of the shower in the morning and be ready to get dressed in a matter of minutes. The packaging is very retro, as with all Soap and Glory packaging and it is rather affordable at only £10.50 for a 300ml pot in Boots (as usual, it can normally be found on 3 for 2 as well). If I had one issue with this it would be the scent. Granted, it’s their original Pink Scent and they use it in a lot of their products like their Scrub of Your Life body scrub, Hand Maid hand gel and Hand Food hand lotion. For some reason, I haven’t got a problem with this scent in any other products but, for me, there’s just something about the scent in this product, despite it being the same one, which I really don’t like. Having said that, other people may not have any issue with the scent at all. While it is a very good body butter, I know there are others out there which are slightly better, in my opinion anyway, for a very similar cost. 3.5/5.
Hope everyone’s having a great Wednesday!
