As you all know, I do enjoy a decent nail polish and I’ve had these sitting in my collection for quite a while. From left to right, we have the shade Raindrop from the In a New York Color Minute range and, from the Expert Last Nail Color range, we have Money Never Sleeps, Pinstripe White and Ink Stain. All of these colours are fantastic. Raindrop is a very nice baby blue, as you can see, Money Never Sleeps is a rich and dark forest green colour and Ink Stain is a great navy blue. Both Money Never Sleeps and Ink Stain have a lot of shimmer in them, thankfully though it isn’t too much. One of my biggest pet peeves when it comes to nail colour is a nail varnish having so much shimmer in it that it becomes as difficult to take off as actual glitter nail varnish. Back to the post though, with the exception of Raindrop, all of these nail varnishes are the perfect consistency, not too thick and not too thin. This means that they only really require one coat. With Raindrop though, it is a lot sheerer than the rest and requires a minimum of 2 coats. While the staying power of these is relatively good, Raindrop chips very quickly, usually within the first 48 hours while all of the other colours take at least 3-4 days to begin to chip away. At only £1.79 a bottle for the In a New York Color Minute range and only £2.49 for the Expert Last Nail Color range at Superdrug (and often on offer at 3 for 2) these are all very affordable. I’d say 3/5 for Raindrop and 4/5 for the others.
Hope y’all are having a great Wednesday!
