This is the Milani Easyliner Lip Liner in the shade Cherry Pie. I’d heard lots about Milani products but had never seen anywhere that I could buy the brand from before. A lot of YouTubers use or talk about Milani products so when I finally found somewhere I could buy Milani from I decided to take the plunge.
I specifically bought this lip liner to use underneath my Revlon Colourburst Matte Balm Stain in Striking Spectaculaire because I’ve been loving doing a nice, bright, red lip lately. This is a great shade to go with the Revlon colour. It’s only slightly different and I’m ok with that. I kind of have a love/hate relationship with wearing lip liners because I feel like too many people use a lip liner that’s too dark for the shade they’re using on the rest of their lips. In that way, this is probably the best lip liner I could have gone for.
Onto actually applying it. It’s a very smooth product because it’s not a pencil liner. This is a twist up liner that you don’t need to sharpen or anything. It’s not particularly drying on the lips either which I find good. The one thing you don’t want at the end of the day is dry lips from wearing lip liner. In terms of how long lasting it is, I’d say it probably only last 3-4 hours but then again when you’re eating and drinking all the time I wouldn’t expect lip products to stay on for a particularly long time anyway.
Finally, Milani is actually very reasonably priced. Another thing I always thought with Milani always being mentioned by YouTubers was that it would be kind of expensive. Au contraire! This liner was only £4 on BeautyCrowd and a lot of their other products don’t tend to cost much more either. I’d definitely say the brand is worth looking in to if you’re looking to try a new brand but don’t want to splash out on individual products. 8/10.
Hope everyone’s having a great Saturday!
